Just as there are different types of accounts for Instagram and Facebook, there are also different types of accounts to choose from when it comes to Pinterest. On Instagram, you can choose from a Creator Profile, a Business Profile, or a Personal Profile. And on Pinterest, you can choose from a Personal or a Business Account. Switching to a Pinterest Business account is free and worth it to grow your brand's presence. Pro Tip: After you've signed up for a business account, stake your claim! Claim your website to ensure your name, along with your profile picture, will appear on every Pin that has your content.

Why You Should Switch to a Business Pinterest Account

  • Utilize the Power of Brand Marketing Through Pinterest Tags. The best way to leverage Brand Marketing is through boosted content or tagging on your social platforms. With a Pinterest Business Account, hit's much easier to tag products and gain additional insights into published content.

Add a Pinterest Tag to your site to: Keep Track of Conversions, Measure Campaign Performance, Build New Audiences

  • Take a Deeper Look Inside Your Analytics. Whenever you set up your business profile on Pinterest, you'll gain access to Pinterest Insights, which will give you a better understanding of your Pinterest Analytics. You'll be able to measure performance, analyze traffic, and learn a little more about what you're customers are wanting.
  • Reach a Larger Audience. Analytics enables you to dive deep into your content's performance. The insights will help you identify which pins are performing best, peak activity for your followers, and which type of content they're engaging with the most.
  • Gain More Control with Branding & Content Attribution. With a business account, you'll have more control over branding and content attribution on the platform – as well as access to more marketing tools. Drive traffic and grow your customer base by integrating campaigns, creating compelling ads, and using the Pinterest Ads Manager.
